Alpha ?
Just new to Photoshop and was wondering how I can take an EPS file and convert it to a PCT with alpha intact?

Place the image over a transparent background with Place Command… then run the create Alpha channels from visible layers action (part of the Video set in the Actions palette – you may need to load it from the pull down menu)
