  Filters grayed out

  I suddenenly have lost filters and effects on photoshop CS.
  Only Blur is working the rest of the list is grayed out, I tried to uninstall and reinstall with the same results

  Well check your Image Mode CMYK vs. RGB

  Thanks for your quick response. Mode was set to 16bit. changed to 8bit and back in action
