  • Interpret one layer’s rotation as another layer’s position

Hey all, I’m not very versed in expressions and have what I believe to be a relatively simple issue

I have a tire rack that moves in frame from the left and has some inertial bounce.

I have everything parented to the backboard and I’m wondering if there’s a way (other than keyframing) to get the chains to rotate according to the speed of the backboard’s position

In addition, I would like to know if I can have the base’s position interpreted by the rotation of the point at the chain-base intersection.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
