I’m trying to link the flare center of a flare effect (on null layer) to the position of null layer–Track moon–with tracking info (x, y). I feel like I’ve done everything right according to the tutorial I’ve seen (admittedly I’ve made a few adjustments to personalize it according to my project’s needs). I used the pickwick to link to the “Track moon” null layer’s position. Any ideas where I might be going wrong?

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

    effect("Lens Flare")(thisComp.layer("Track moon").transform.position)

I’m not sure how you ended up with that, but you should only need this part:

    thisComp.layer(“Track moon”).transform.position

Well I don’t need to tell you but … YES, that did the trick. Thank you Dan!
