  Changing text layers.

  I have a project with 2 text layers. Is there anyway I can swap out the text on those layers without opening the application? Can I edit the xml version of the project file?

  I’ve looked at the xml version in CS4 but cannot locate where to swap out the text.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  The contents of the Source Text property are not saved as human-readable/human-editable strings in the XML project file format.

  There are some scripts that people have written to pull in text from external files. I’ve not used them enough to settle on a favorite, so someone else should chime in to say if they’ve like any of these scripts.

  Thanks for the tip on the XML. I’ll stop looking there.

  If you have the links to the scripts you mentioned, or can point me in the right direction, I’d love to take a look at them.
