Need some expert advice as to the best method of approaching this masking problem where the mask changes shape as the shot changes perspective.

In the following low res render I need to separate the building from the sky but the building changes perspective as the camera pans down.

Can this be done all within AE, or do I need some 3rd party masking tool?
    The original is 4K.
Thanks for any tips or suggestions.

    Hi Jim

————— if you are simply changing the sky then I reckon its worth trying a luma key / chroma key which I reckon will do most of it then you will just need to fiddle with the left hand corner a bit…..

Have you tried animating the mask shape?

The shot doesn’t look to difficult to rotoscope in After Effects.

    Or use Mocha, see:https://library.creativecow.net/devis_andrew/AE_Rotoscoping-Mocha/1

Thanks! As a first step will try keying. If that doesn’t do the trick will give rotoscoping a try!
