  • HVX Output HD and SD signal at the same at????

So I need to output from the HVX both 1080i Component signal and 480i Composite at the same time, how do I do this? From what I understand the camera can only output either one or the other but not both, so is there an adapter out there, that can do this simple task?

    Thanks

I’m almost positive that the composite and Y/C ports are always active and of course are always SD, so when the composite is set to HD you should have watch you are wanting.

Do you have a camera, this would be quick thing to test.

When you have the component plugged in, the composite stops working.

    You can’t do both. Sorry.

I thought I used both at one time, maybe it was the composite and the Y/C, so much for my memory.

I understand that you can’t do both. My question is, is there an adapter that can convert 1080i Component to 480i Composite?
