Exporting from FCP – 7 boxes
When I export from FCP 6.0.5 using QT Conversion, the QT shows up with 3 boxes on the left edge, 3 boxes on the right edge, and 1 box in the middle. I can work around it if I switch the sequence settings from DVCPro to Apple ProRes 422, but I’m wondering what the underlying issue is? Is it an issue between the P2 Driver and FCP?

Really? Can you post a screenshot of that- sounds odd. Shift Apple 3 for a screenshot, then photobucket to host it.

Wow- that’s truly weird. If I had to guess I’d say there was a problem with the original recording that caused those glitches. It might not show up in FCP though. I’d try re-importing a clip and see if it helps.

Hi Joe,
It looks like you installed our demo Calibrated{Q} DVCProHD Decode code (that’s the watermark pattern) – which isnt meant to be installed on computers with FCP. The uninstall instructions are in the ReadMe in the /Applications/Calibrated/Doc folder.

I don’t remember installing your software at all. I don’t find a “Calibrated” folder anywhere in my Applications folder.
Have I missed something?

Hi Joe,
Open up your ‘Macintosh HD’ in Finder and look in your /Library/QuickTime folder – is there a CalibratedDVHDCodec.component? If so, delete it and restart.
