  • Print To Tape 23.98 on AJHD1400?

I have a program that was shot on the HVX-200a at 720/24p. I’m trying to Print To Tape my 23.98 timeline to the AJHD1400.
The problem arises when I switch the deck to read 23.98 in the 720p mode, and I’m denied recording to tape. The computer says it decects a copy protection on the tape or deck, which shows the “rec inhibit” light (the rec inhibit switch is set to off).

When I set the deck to read 59.94, recording to the deck is then allowed. I did a test run of laying my 23.98 show on a 59.94 timeline, then printing to tape, which worked. Does anybody know how I can retain my 23.98 frame rate going to tape?

    Thanks

    Jeff

DVPro is alway 29.97/59.94, you have to add the pulldown to record to tape. There is no 23.98/24P to tape. The P2 cameras can do native because there is no tape.

Also firewire only supports video in “over 60”
