  Editing / Using the FCPX Drop Shadow effect

  Hi,

  most effects in FCPX can be opened, via a copy, in Motion. Apple recently added a much needed dropshadow and their effect is quite nice. I’d like to use it in Motion but can not open it there.

  Anybody know a way ?

  Not sure I’m understanding your question, but I know you can select any object in Motion, then look at it in the inspector tab where you can find the drop shadow box and parameters.
