After Effects does not render anything URGENT!!!!
Hey guys,
About 2 days ago I was working on my file as usual (with no changes whatsoever to my software or hardware) and After Effects suddenly refuses to render my video and does not even go past one single frame, it will not render movies, image sequences, anything, it does not render period.
when I click on stop it gives me this message:
I have not changed any settings on my computer or After Effects and rendering this specific file worked fine before this random occurence a couple days ago, other files render work so something is wrong with this file specifically.
The project I am working on is a rotoscoping animation, I have used the Rotobrush on some MOV files, along with Particular Trapcode, and some effects such as Glow and Blur, nothing fancy.
Here’s my technical info , hopefully it’s enough detail:
After Effects CS5.5
Mac OSX 10.7.4
Memory 16GB 1333 MHz DDr3
3.1 Ghz Intel Core i5MOVIE FILES INFO:
50fps
1280×720
h.264
Linear PCM
16-bit little-endian signed integer, 4800HZ (stereo LR)
File sizes range from 1.33Gb to 500mb (I can’t compromise on quality as this is a big project)Is there anything else you need to know? my deadline was yesterday and this is for a live show next week, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also audio’s not a big deal as I’m not using it, here are some screenshots of my project settings.

PS even my backups from before this issue occured are now showing the same problem…

I’ve just tried ‘collect files’ it says the file is still corrupted

Have you tried rendering to a different drive or location within the same drive? Try both of those things. I have had similarly confusing errors over permissions problems before.

Just tried a different location, and from another drive.
None of these work.

Have you tried to create a new project and importing the problem project into that one?

I would but I don’t think the rotobrush strokes would transfer to a new project, I will give that a shot though.
I’m not going to restroke everything though as this was the long and painful part. :p

Hi,
If still looking for help, you could try to reset After Effects settings to default by pressing cmd+alt+shift at startup. -
That doesn’t work, and nothing happens when I hold these keys at the same time during the startup.
