  Reset Chapter Markers

  Using the CS4 suite…
  I had to update some chapter markers in PPro. I then opened Encore and ‘Reverted’ the appropriate asset (which was Dynamic Linked). Looked like it worked, since the length of the asset matched my latest changes; however, the chapter points, which I had modified in PPro did not get carried over into Encore. Encore still has the old chapter point times. Is there a clean way to refresh those chapter points? Probably easier to remove the asset and add it back rather than moving all of the markers.

  but it claims that issue is fixed with the latest update (which I have), but I must have a different issue.

  Duplicate your timeline (for safety), and then delete the asset from it – the chapter points should disappear.

  Drag the DL asset back into the timeline – do you have the latest chapter points?

  Yep, that is the work-around I ended up doing. The first time, though, it decided to crash Encore, but it worked the second time. Had to relink my menu buttons, but I didn’t have that many.
