  Play button to animate dvd menu

  I want to make a dvd menu where after you press the play button there would be a small animation. it would only be about 3 seconds at most. it would just be an additional layer. For example: picture has a guy with two fists in the air, when the play button is hit, i want two things to appear in his hand and something to pop out from the right side of the menu. Is this making sense? sorry if it’s confusing.

  You could try using a “button Transition” using the menu as a background and making the rest of your animation in After Effects.
