  • Timeline audio..plays in preview, but not in Flash

First project, still, so I’m learning!

My project is a short intro video (timeline), then a single motion menu with one button that plays a 25 minute video (timeline).

All assets generated as .mpg with associated ac3 audio in Vegas.

    Everything plays perfectly in preview.

Generate a Flash build (10 hours!)

The intro video plays fine, the menu w/ bkgrnd audio plays fine, but the main video plays with no audio.

On the main video timeline, I used ctrl-T to create the timeline from the .mpg video asset, then dragged the corresponding .ac3 onto the audio track. Is this appropriate?
    (It played in preview.)

I read in another post something about turning subtitles off. (Aren’t they off by default?). Haven’t tried that, yet.

I’m currently building a version using .avi assets instead of .mpg+.ac3. We’ll see if that makes a difference (10 hours from now).

In the meantime, any tips are appreciated!
