  TC from PMW-EX30 to HD1500

  Hopefully someone can help me out. I am trying to record from a EX-30 deck to a HD1500 using HD-SDI and I want to keep the original TC. I am setting the 1500 to use TC from the SDI input but it still is generating timecode from 0. Can someone clue me on what I might be doing wrong?

  On the 1500:

  TCG = SDI
  Preset/Regen = TC
  Run mode = Rec Run

  If you feed HDSDI from the EX30 to the HD1500 with these settings the 1500 will pick up the embedded TC on the SDI.
