  Import a Premiere Pro Project vs Dynamic linking

  Hi
  Can anyone explain to me why and when you might choose to import a Premiere Pro Project vs use Dynamic linking from within PPro?

  You only need Dynamic linking when you are going to go back and forth between apps. Sometimes I’ll use Premiere to assemble and arrange the clips, then take all that into AE and never come back to Premiere. In that case Dynamic linking isn’t necessary.

  I usually import the Premiere project. I rarely use Dynamic Link. I don’t need to keep going back and forth and tweaking things. I make the edit, do my AE work, finish audio work and compress! No need for linking things. And I prefer having all the clips seperate in AE.
