  final cut crashing. please help.

  I have a 8 core 10.6.1 running snow leopard with a decklink extreme hd 3 card. quite often when i try to open the log and transfer utility fcp crashes. is this a known problem? are there any fixes? all of my firmware for the card is current as well. thanks!

  Similar issue I have occasionally is that FCP crashes upon booting up.
  I found this happens if the volume I had assigned had some problems then it crashes.
  So, you might wanna see the scratch volume that you set for the capturing is healthy or not.

  Hi Cory,

  Can you specify exactly what version of drivers you’re running? Sometimes, you may think it’s current but it’s actually not the case.
