  Noob Problems?

  I bought and installed a new Decklink Extreme on Friday. Worked fine. Now I boot up today and everything is weird. At first the card wouldn’t get recognized. Reinstalled drivers. Worked ok BUT now I can’t set my main display to anything higher than 1280×1024. Strange. I’ve reinstalled the Nvidia drivers. I want to run at 1600×1200 but every time I try the Nvidia card (7900gs) goes to 640×480. Any ideas?

  You are on the wrong monitor setting.When you install a BMD card in a Dual Montor system,you will see 3 monitors to configure (Display properties).The 3rd is called Blackmagic display.The only possible resolutions for this monitor are Pal and NTSC Resolutions.Be sure to disable “extend Windows Desktop ” for this monitor.

  That’s not it. I did disable extend. BMD was always 720×286. And there are only two monitors. What should the third be? The Nvidia composite output?
