  Working with fcp 24@25 makes video stutter. (Film editors in PAL world please help)

  Editing a film shot at 24 frames and put on dv tapes. When i use FCP and output with my decklink HD card I can’t make the smoothing 24@25 pulldown work. The picture stutters really bad. However, using firewire and my dsr-11 deck as a converter everything looks nice. This is our first movie project.. Doesn’t decklink support this option ?

  I even wrote to Blackmagic and they have said they are looking into this.

  My current workarounds are…
  Convert the DV-PAL 24@25 stuff to PhotoJPEG or uncompressed 8bit if you have space/throughput.
  OR
  Another way to get rid of this is to go to the SafeRT pop up to the left of the timeline window and set the Record to tape settings to “Use playback settings” not “Full Quality”
