    Hi Guys,

Has anyone out there tried outputting to an Apple 23″ LCD display, via the HDMI output and a HDMI to DVI adapter?

In theory I can not imagine why it wouldn’t work, but I just wanted to check before we went any further with the purchase. I realise the Multibridge Extreme has a built in DVI output, but we can’t justify the extra $1600.00 (AU) when we are just using it as a stand alone converter.

I have copied below the specs of the HDMI to DVI converter I was thinking of using.

DVI-D Female to HDMI Male Adapter Cable, 0.2m
Converts a DVI cable for use with an HDMI interface!
Connects an HDMI digital display to a device with a DVI-D display output
Allows DVI-D signal cables to be connected to a display with an HDMI input
This adapter supports digital signals only, analogue connections are not supported
Connectors: DVI-D Female to HDMI Male
    Length: 20cm

Appreciate any suggestions or ideas you might have.

    Cheers

    Steve
