  DL Extreme G5 2.5 DP FCP 5 –Which Codec after up grade???

  Sorta confused, searched and couldn’t find specific answer, so if has been, please
  excuse…

  Recently upgraded to FCP 5.0.4, BM 5.5 drivers, OSX 10.4.5.

  Which codec to use now for component BetaSP capture and sequence settings?

  A lot of stuff I work on also has a mix of DVCam, BetaSP and whatever else clients
  can throw at me in same seq, if it matters.

  Uncompressed 8 bit 4:2:2? Black Magic 8 bit (2Vuy)? Don’t mind renders if there’s
  one that’s better quality if it matters.

  Hi,

  Use the Apple Uncompressed 4:2:2 codec at 8 or 10 bits. This is the dfault we use when youy configure your project using our easy setups (Final Cut Pro > Easy Setups)
