  Audio monitoring problem

  Hi all,

  My client is experiencing a problem with monitoring sound via S/PDIF while capturing with his Decklink Extreme card. Even though the preview is selected in the clip setting tab of the log and capture window there is no sound coming through. I played around with different sound settings in System Preferences, but no luck. I only managed to monitor sound while capturing through digital out on his G5. Playback works fine.

  Trashing the preferences didn’t work

  Has anyone else experienced this ?

  Has he checked the preview box in the FCP capture panel?

  Hi,

  Is Black Video Output enabled in the DeckLink preference pane? If so, disable it and see if there’s a difference.
