    Hi Folks

We’ve just upgraded our Final Cut Pro suite from a Decklink Extreme to a Decklink HD Pro 4:4:4: card and when we go into log and capture, we’re getting picture roll and breakup in our output monitor which is proving both confusing and annoying.

We’re feeding the component output from the Decklink into a JVC DT-V1910CGU monitor.

    Anyone elso having similar problems?

The problem is only on the output monitor during capture and does not affect the actual captured footage. It only seems to be a monitoring issue, however it is frustrating.

    Best wishes

Have you selected “Enable 4:4:4 mode” in the BMD system prefs?

    Hi Scott,

If you leave it for a moment, does the picture settle down and work normally?

    regards

    Hi Kristian

It’s strange…sometimes when I go to log and capture everything is fine, however on most occasions as mentioned, I get picture roll/breakup.

It does tend to settle down after a while and the good thing is that it does NOT appear to affect what is actually being captured.

My previous Decklink Extreme exhibited none of these problems.
