  SDI setting in system preferences switches to analog

  When I set the Black Magic setting in System preferences to SDI input it resets to analog input everytime I close that window. The current work around is to leave it open in the background while I am working. Am I doing something wrong?

  I have just upgraded G5 2.0 DP to Tiger and FCP 5. Also downloaded the latest drivers from Blackmagic as of 7/28/05. I am using a Decklink Extreme card and try to input from Digibeta using the SDI ins and outs.

  Hi Sean,

  Are you using an Admin account? An Admin account should never encounter such a problem. I suspect you are using a “Managed” account with “Some Limits” and so your change in the preferences is not being retained. Would this explain your problem?
