Hi there. Thanks for reading this.

By accident, had dragged a folder into AE and it gave a wonderful window:
it asked me how long I wanted each layer to be and how to overlap them in a slideshow. (like the option ‘sequence layers’) but it was all in one window.

Then it just put all layers in the comp sequenced and was done.

Does anyone know how to get that window again?

    It did it on import.

    What do you think?

    Thanks so much.
    Warmly,
    Hope

Well, you can select multiple files in the Project Window and drag them onto the ‘new comp’ button in the bottom of the Project Window.

i think you are describing the “Sequence Layers” option, found under the Animation/Keyframe Assistant menu dropdown.

To use it, you highlight a range of layers in the timeline, and choose the option. One thing to bear in mind is that the order you select the layers determines the which layer starts the sequence.
