    Is there anyway to output an uncompressed 1920×1080 progressive signal from the HDMI port on the canon 5d mark II? I was under the impression that it only output 1080i via the HDMI port while not recording and then switched to SD during recording.

    Interesting question, although I am not sure if this helps…

    I was just looking at some videos yesterday from Teradek, who have come up with a system that allows for ad-hoc wi-fi networks. Read the review on PhilipBloom.net. Using a separate recorder would allow you to bypass the issue of resolution-dropping.
