Particular Wrap Around
Hey guys,
So I’m trying figure out a way to do this but cant seem to find a good way to do so.I’m trying to get a particle effect (from particular) to wrap around another layer in 3d space, so it goes in front and behind it (leaving behind particles as well).
I have watched Aharon Rabinowitz’s Better Compositing with Partials, but this is not the answer I’m looking for, due to the camera movement. I don’t know. Any idea’s? Thanks guys!

Can you apply it to a 3D motion path?

That being said, Make sure you apply Particular to your top 2d layer, always keep that on top, and enable obscuration layer- Particular will read the 3d info of all layers below.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

There’s a nice AE script from Sébastien Périer on aescripts.com called sParticular that helps Particular interact with other 3D layers. Check out the two short video tutorials (one is in the comments) to see if it will do what you need.

So I downloaded the sParticular script, but it dose not seem to work with the Aux particals that trail behind the Emitter. Not really sure where to go from here.
