dollar signs over clips?

January 13, 2016 at 8:21 pmThose aren’t dollar signs…those are NEW graphic indicators that there’s something different about the clips. Before, all you’d get is a green dot, meaning “something about this clip is different.” now, Avid tells you WHAT about the clip is different. S means SPATIAL, meaning that the clips are a different size than the project. Say 4K clips in a 1080p project, or SD clips in an HD project.

January 13, 2016 at 8:32 pmYou can turn these off or on individually in timeline settings if you want under “show adapters.” To elaborate, you can see up to three indicators:
1. C for color (A LUT has been applied to the source)
2. S for spacial (source raster does not match project or has FrameFlex)
3. T for temporal (frame rate does not match project rate)Michael
