  Crashing when tring to install Media composer 6.5

  Hello,
  I have problems installing Avid Media composer 6.5. It crashes upon the process of installation.
  I,m running iMac i7 3,4 Ghz intel Core, 32 GB 1600MHz, Fusion drive (Late 2012) OS x 10.8.3
  Any idea?

  Copy the installer from the disk image you downloaded to your desktop. Unmount the disk image.

  I had the same problem. Worked fine after copying to the desktop.

  It’s a bug. Avid is aware of it, but doesn’t know what causes it yet. Doesn’t happen to everyone.

  I did it again manually and it worked…bizare, but thx anyway.

  I’ve run into this several times with 6.5.4 on osx.8.5 and 8.4. I’m trying the copy to desktop to fix it.
