  Renaming alpha clips

  Hello,

  How do I rename a clip on the timeline that has an alpha matte inbuilt? I’ve been using find frame to bring up the standard shots in the monitor, then in clip info I’ve been changing the name.. but with the matte shots an error msg appears saying precomputes can’t be opened in monitors..

  I really need to change the names for the EDL to be correct.

  Any advice??

  You can change the name of the clip in the bin – it will update on the timeline.
