I am trying to import XDCAM HD into a MC 3.0.5.
The first clip imports fine, but after that I get a “bad allocation” error. If I restart the avid, I can import the next clip, then I get the error message again. This happens with both the PDW-U1 drive and the PDW-F75 deck.
If I try to import from a sequence, none of the clips will import.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Dale,

Are you working in Picture Cache Record Mode, Interval Record Mode, or VFR (Variable Frame Rate) Mode (UCC/OCC – Undercrank/Overcrank)? Avid does not batch import these modes. Otherwise, is the firmware current for the Sony decks?
