  • Ram preview needs at least two fm’s

    I just installed a try out version of AE from the Adobe site.
    I get an error msg on Ram preview as stated in the subject of this
    post.
    I have used AE on that comp before with no problems.
    Anyone know what may be causing this. The timeline does contain fm’s
    and keyframes et.. btw

    Check your work area. You’ll get this error message when your work area is set to 1 frame.

    hit “B” to start work area, then “N” where you want the preview to end

    I get this problem a lot when there is a memory leak. If you have not already done so, shut down and restart the computer.

    That usually clears it up.

    Thanks for the above.
    Still have the same problem. It is an old comp so not to worried about it.
    Just curious is all. I will reinstall the software and see what happens
