  Drive limit?

  I have 6 LVD drives daisy chained and I want to buy 2 more drives to replace my two smallest drives. Is it going to be safe to install the new drives, daisy chain them, move the files from the smaller drives to the new ones, then disconnect the smaller ones? I’m running Avid 7.2 on a mac vs 8.1 Thx.

  It depends on your SCSI drive controller. Many only support seven devices, which includes the controller itself. You’ll need to check which you are using. If you have the 15-device version you should be fine.
