If I have the scene preview window open , Invigorator makes the menu bar of AE flicker. I have plenty of memory. I have no problem opening up the plugin and using it. Also I have no problems with Pro Animator. Is there a setting I should check?

    William,

I haven’t heard of this issue. Providing more info about software versions and system hardware may provide some clues.

Maybe I don’t need Invigorator if I have Animator Pro. Maybe since they are both installed its causing an issue.

    Hi William,

I have no reason to believe one app would impact the other. By chance are you rendering interlaced video? If so, it can look like it “flickers” on progressive-scan monitors like your computer monitor. To see what’s happening for sure, try watching your video on the intended device.

No this is not effecting the video I am creating. It like flickers the menu and the program controls like something is wrong. Like it wants to freeze up. But again since I have ProAnimator it does all the Invigorator does. So I guess I can just uninstall it.

    William,

You could uninstall, but I wouldn’t suggest that.

ProAnimator and Invigorator share the same modeling and texturing abilities – for the most part. However, their animation controls and abilities are really not the same. Each has advantages in certain situations.

You might contact tech support for this issue.

What can Invigorator do that Animator Pro cannot?
