I was wondering how would I make the film strip, the one in the tutorial, twist or turn? I want it to start out going kinda straight then curve towards the camera. Also, I want to have a depth of field look too. Where the first part is farther back and a little smaller and the end is bigger as it comes towards the camera. Thanks.

    Hi Brandon,

Second question first: try adjusting the camera lens to wider angle. This amplifies the difference between how objects near and far appear and should give you what you’re after.

First question: without looking at the tutorial, I’d use layer cycling to animate the shape of a path which becomes the edge of the film strip in Invigorator. Perhaps this will give you some ideas.

    Thanks, Marcelo,

Instead of doing a write-on effect as the tutorial demonstrates, simply vary the shape of the stroke slightly in each layer to make the film strip edge appear to animate.
