    Hi Jay

If I may ask what do you want to shoot – I have HDY 101’s and have the fujinon adaptor rings that I purchased. It allows you to go from a 1/3 inch (standard lens )to a half inch lens.

I then got myself 2 old Fujinon Pegasus 2 lenses with doublers on.

The good thing is that using the fujinon lens converter – it gives you a x 1.8 just by fitting the doubler. So your std 14 x goes to about a 25 optical… Then add the doubler on the lens and you go to a 50 x

I shoot lots of sport action and wildlife and it works for me.

The Pegasus 2 lenses are fairly cheap. They came std with the Sony BETASP cams pre 1999. Rocksolid, Cheap and easy to get yr hands on

Try and stay away from converters that screw onto the front of your lens. Filters are great but converters tend to distort the images especially on the edges. Shooting in 16:9 its no good

    Hope it helps

    William
