This may sound a bit weird but its for a web application demo so what I am trying to do is mimick the user interaction with what would be the application…. I have a slide reel of products that is in a composition and is set with a simple position keyframe to scroll across the screen left to right..

What I would like to do is pause this in the middle of the path for a set amount of time without having to manually divide it into 2 separate animations since this would make it more difficult to maintain the constant velocity and would basically just be at time saver overall for these types of projects.. I’m wondering if there is a way to do this..

What would happen when it pauses is that it would show a separate animation where one of the products enlarges and shows more info about that. (just to give you a fully picture of what I’m doing)

Would it be as simple as using a Hold keyframe? I think Aaron has a tutorial on this at the COW. Otherwise, use the Help docs.
