  Adapt 25fps in 50 with “alpha” frames

  I want to put a 25fps video in a 50fps edit but the frames repeat like this to get 50 fps full of images:

  1-1-2-2-3-3….24-24-25-25

  I want to create blank empty and transparent frames betweem them, so if i add a video in a layer below it I could see it.

  1-transparent-2-transparent…24-transparent-25

  How can I do that?

  Hi,

  I know I’m repeating myself, but my only idea is to take Vegasaur in such a case.
  You can achieve what you want using Vegasaurs “strobe light effect”.
  Set Duration, pause duration to exactly 1 frame, fade duration to zero.
  That creates a composite level envelope for you on the selected track over the selected time range.
