How do I delete a region with no number
Posted by Doyal Gudgel on May 22, 2011 at 2:07 pmHow do I delete a region when it doesn’t have a number? Help says to r click the number and delete. “Delete all” does not delete because it doesn’t have a number as far as I can tell. This in vegas 9.
Hope to see you

If you right-click on the region marker it should still give you a delete option even though it runs out of numbers at 99.

May 23, 2011 at 6:54 pmApparently this is not a region because if you right click on it it asks if you want to create a region. If you say yes it displays region separage from the display you want to get rid of. Here is a picture of what I want to delete.

That is not a region. It’s a timeline selection or loop region. There is no reason to delete it because it is transient. Simply drag your mouse over the timeline somewhere else and it will make a new selection there. If they bother you, go into Options | Preferences | Editing and check the box that says, “[x] Collapse loop region when no time selection is present” and then will collapse when your not using them.
