Deinterlace Method
In Project Properties, there is Deinterlace Method option. Does this affect only video effects or also the rendered video?
What should it be set for DV-AVI video? None?

Standard DV is lower field first.
For rendering, go to “Custom” and make sure it’s the way you want it set.

Yes I know standard DV is LFF. I have Vegas project set to Lower Field First.
What does the Deinterlace Method affect? There are three choices, “None/Blend Fields/Interpolate Fields“. Since I am using standard DV and don’t want it deinterlaced, do I have to set this to “none” so Vegas won’t deinterlace my video? Or do these options only affect the Video Preview Screen?

I don’t think it affects anything unless you change the field order to “None (Progressive)”
