Sony Vegas Pro 12 Rendering/Crashing issues
Hello,
I am trying to render a 1 hour video on Sony Vegas Pro 12 (build 485 64-bit), and it always crashes when the video is around 11% or 12% complete rendering (1 out of 8 hours needed to render the video in 720p).
Initially, I was getting problem reports that said “Vegas Pro has stopped working”, and then the only option would be to debug it. I went online to find solutions, changed some of my settings in the program (i.e. turned GPU acceleration of video processing off, changed the maximum number of rendering threads to 2), just tried any and every solution that might stop this nightmare.
Just before my 4th attempt, I watched a video that advised me to delete the ErrorReportClient.Exe and PRSConfig.Exe files from the Vegas 12 folder in Program Files, and that this would resolve my predicament. After deleting it and another hour of trying to render the video, another box popped up that said “An error has occured during the current operation. An exception has occurred”. I pressed “Details” for more information, but it was blank. Again, I was forced to debug the rendering.
I don’t know what to do or where to go from here, I’d really appreciate if an expert could offer some assistance (John Rofrano was very helpful last time, but I welcome any help that will resolve my issue). Whether I need to reinstall Vegas Pro 12 or change some settings around, I’m willing to go the distance; I just need to get this video rendered as soon as possible.
Some additional info:
-My computer runs on an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 driver.
-Perhaps one factor that is contributing to this is that my hour-long video utilizes BCC 8 Plugins throughout the whole video (specifically the beat reactor), although I don’t see why that should cause it to quit rendering and debug, in lieu of taking more time to render.
Best Always
Faraz
