Which is faster? AE or Photoshop for 3D model movement?
I have model of a plane that I have lit and applied our company logos all over within Photoshop CS4. Now that NucleoPro 2 works with AECS4 I can of course bring 3D Photoshop files into AE and control the movement.
I’m not doing anything to complicated. I don’t need to have the plane cast shadows. Just want to do a fly by, tilt the wings to show off the logo and fall out.
Would it be faster to do all this key framing within Photoshop and then export out as a Quicktime movie with an Alpha channel or just stick with After Effects?
Right now I’m just doing a “fast” RAM preview and it is dog slow.
If you have any experience with this, it would be a great help.
