  BCC match move problem

  Hi

  I’m trying the BCC match move plugin from BorisFX. I followed the tutorial of John Rofrano (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P_baDbOP88). When I click on “Track on-the-fly” there doesn’t appears an square. There are 2 crosses in the preview window but these are there also in source alpha. One of the two (blue one) move with the Tracker Center KF but if I build a dynamic RAM preview (see picture) the match move doesn’t work.

  Set your preview windows to Best (Full) before you add Match Move and do any tracking (your have it set to Preview(Auto) in the screen shot). You need to be working with full resolution for tracking. If you’re not seeing the two boxes, make sure you have the latest graphics drivers for your card. You should see two boxes with a point in the middle.

  You’re welcome. It took me a while to figure this out so I might not mention it on all my tutorials but you should always switch your preview to Best(Full) before adding any visual effects. Otherwise they make their calculations based on the wrong frame size values.
