    Hi there,

I’m using Sony Vegas 10.0d 64 bit on Windows 7. It hangs whenever I drag and drop any media to timeline (even default presets from Media Generators tab). I was wondering if any one has faced this issue before.

    Regards,
    Chandan

The latest version of Vegas Pro 10 is 10e. Maybe updating your Vegas to 10e solves your problem.

    Hi Theo,

Thanks for your reply. I’ll try that.

I used 10.0d couple of months ago on the same machine and it worked perfectly fine then. I suspect that some other software update is causing the issue.

    Regards,
    Chandan

As Theo mentioned, update it to 10.0e
Its always best to keep your editing system off
the net (offline), but that’s hard for most users.

Be aware that Sony changed their OFX implementation in 10e. Plugins that worked in 10c misbehaved for me in 10e. SVP11 is a real nightmare. I am stuck on 10c, but at least I get my jobs done.

My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

Which particular plugins misbehaved for you Nigel?

    Hi,

Thank you all for your suggestions. I installed SV11 trial and it is working fine. I’ll take another look at SV10 when I get some free time.

    Thanks,
    Chandan

And remember, at the moment dont save any of your working
projects as a vegas 11 project file.

OK. Thanks. No worries as I’ll be working on plug-ins.
