    Hello,

    I’m sending this mail after I’ve searched the entire web for an answer and sadly have come up with nothing…

    I’m trying to render a comp in after effects, the comp is a sequence of jpeg at a size 1800×1200. I’ve added timewarp to get an effect just like frameblending eventually giving me something between stills and video.

    Each time I render Im getting an error message saying:
    “After Effects: not enough memory to create Kronos image.(16875k,15680k available)
    “after Effects error: Timewarp out of memory. (4)
    ( 25::60 )”

    I understand that there is a problem of insufficient memory, Is there anything I Can change in me preferences settings in order to finish this render?

    Amongst the things I’ve tried is pressing the shift key when I enter the preferences dialogue and changed the “secret” settings so it will purge every 5 frames.

    Thank you very much for taking the time to help me.

    Ironically I just had the same error message. I was able to fix it by increasing my maximum memory usage to 160% and maximum RAM usage to 60% then enabled disk cache up to 12000MB. It worked fine.

    cheers

    Does your comp allow you to render with Open GL? The addition of your video card depending on its power could help push you though. If not, try increasing your disk cache size more.
