  • Invert cookie cutter property on all keyframes at once

Posted by Fabio Mereghetti on January 15, 2012 at 8:20 pm

    Hi.

I created an animated circle with cookie cutter to follow an athlete while she is doing a performance of artistic gymnastics.

Now I would like to change only the property “cut away all but section” with its opposite “cut away section”: is there a way to do that without having to step through all the single keyframes?

If there is not, can I “convert” the animated CC into a mask, somehow, and then invert it?

    Thanks.

No. That’s one of the limitations of keyframing; you need to change every keyframe individually.

No, there is no way to directly convert a CC into a mask but you could apply the CC to a piece of white generated media and then use the Masking function of the Track to create a black and white mask. This might work.
