  Timing is messed up?

  I don’t know what it’s called, but the little orange line that appears when you put two clips back to back doesn’t show up for me anymore. Is there a setting I have to change to get it back?
  If you can’t understand it, I can try to give more detail about it

  It’s called Snapping.
  Options -Enable Snapping.
  F8 is the shortcut.
  It should be a toolbar icon too.

  Thank you so much, but one mmore questions. I guess I played with the settings trying to get it back too much, because now, every time I cut a clip the one next to it is dragged into its spot. Sorry to bug you, i’m just clueless with the settings.

  You have accidentally enabled “Ripple Edit”. Press Ctrl+L or click the icon on the toolbar that looks like a left arrow above two video events.
