Movie Studio Platinum Audio Prob
I have a variation on a problem I’ve seen indentified already in these hallowed (virtual) halls. I have a project I’ve been working on in Sony Movie Studio 9 Platinum. I have no probs editing my project on 9, but lately I’ve been thinking about upgrading to 10 or 11 to take advantage of the extra video and audio tracks, so I downloaded these trials from Sony’s web site. The problem is, neither 10 nor 11 will recognize my audio file that works fine in 9. I’ve seen comments from folks saying how neither of them is designed for a 64-bit Vista system (which I have), so I’ve even tried out Pro 10, and even it will not recognize my audio file. It says the file, “…has changed enough that the media stream properties from the project file could not be applied…” I saw a solution somewhere that said to reinstall 9, but to do that don’t I have to uninstall it first, and won’t that remove my project?
