  Sony Vegas 10 Choppy when capturing and on playback.

  I’m using a Canon XL2 and am shooting at 24fps. I recently shot a video and tried capturing using the Vegas Pro 10 utility that comes with the program. I never had an issue with Vegas 9 and am really discouraged about this. The audio and video are choppy when previewing and playback. I’ve tried suspending the preview, disabling the clip recognition, and updating my video card drivers. Im using an HP fully souped up with more than enough hardware to handle it. Anyone have a clue what else I can do??? Thanks

  Turn off any FX you have on the event and drop the quality down a notch on the preview.

  I wasn’t using any FX. And I suspended the preview while capturing. I’ve done everything I can think of…
