  Vegas Pro 10 Project Loading Prob

  Hi guys,

  Haven’t posted in a while, but i’ve run into what seems to be a HUGE problem! It’s prob nothing but hopefully you guys can help!

  I recently re-installed vegas pro 10 and then updated it (without opening any projects) with the Vegas 10e update! Now whenever I try opening a project (“pre” re-installation) vegas comes up with that soul sucking error dialogue saying vegas has stopped working. It loads the project until about 4 or 5% and then crashes.

  Now i got the details of the error report hopefully someone here can figure out what the problem is. I was working on 10e before the re-install and everything worked fine, I have no clue what changed??

  If you guys could help in any way I would be forever gratefull!!

  Does this error occur with any project? Or a specific project? Are you opening a file by double-clicking the .veg file? Or doing a “file | open” in Vegas? Or do you have Vegas set to automatically open the last project?

  What happens if you launch Vegas, create a new project, save it, and then try reopening it?
